Last week Apple Park was invited to the kids store Eloise at the famous Plaza Hotel in New York City. Hope Harris came along to read Apple Park’s book Bunny’s Garden and sing some of her foot stompin’ and engaging songs to a crowded room of Apple Park fans.
Both moms and kids quickly became fans of Hope and her upbeat, educational, sing-a-long songs. From her Cousins Jamboree cd she sang “Howdy Hello”, “Good Manners”, and Apple Park’s favorite, “I Love Apples”! She also sang a few from her just released cd Picasso, That’s Who! Both Hope and Apple Park share in their effort to inspire curiosity and creativity, along with a wholesome, can-do approach to their messages. Apple Park’s Bunny’s Garden was written with the intent to educate kids as to where their food comes from and that they too can take an active part in gardening.
After the story and songs, the kids played in Eloise at The Plaza’s lovely tea room and enjoyed Eloise’s signature pink lemonade and Apple Park’s bunny carrot cookies! Each chlld left with a special gift bag filled with Apple Park goodies and Hope Harris’s Cousin’s Jamboree cd!
Stay tuned for more Apple Park events.
Thank you to Heidi Green Photography, Six Persimmons Cookies, Hope Harris and Eloise at The Plaza for a great event!
